Packaging & Shipping

Since jewelry is often given for special occasions, we will be extremely flexible to help you create a wonderful surprise. We can expedite your delivery for a fast-approaching special occasion, or we can ship your order to an address other than your home to help you maintain your surprise. Please don't hesitate to contact us at info@5oaksstudio.com for any special requests. Packaging The packaging has been selected to be gift ready, if you purchase an item for yourself it is like receiving a gift in the mail. If you are ordering it as a gift it can be sent in its normal packaging with the addition of a gift tag. Each piece is packaged as shown in this photo. First, the piece is carefully wrapped in apple green tarnish free tissue paper, placed into a crystal clear PVC pillow box, trimmed with ribbon, wrapped in natural color tissue paper, finally placed in a mailing box. If you wish to ship directly to a gift recipient, for a small fee a gift card can be customized with a brief message and attached to the ribbon. Order Processing & Shipping Times Most orders ship within 1-2 business days from the date the order is received. Should a problem arise when processing your shipment we will contact you to make alternate delivery arrangements. Order Processing. Shipments are only processed on weekdays, orders taken on weekends will be processed the next business day. The delivery times listed are not guaranteed, notwithstanding expedited shipping methods, but are our best approximation and will vary with specific requests, such as gift cards, gift packaging, soldering, or customization of chain/leather cord lengths. Orders Not Requiring Special Services. Typically, orders not requiring Special Services, placed after 12:00 noon (Central) on Friday, or on Saturday or Sunday, will be processed Monday and should arrive in the timing listed on the chart below. Special Services. Orders requiring Special Services, such as soldering or custom chain or cord length, will delay the delivery of your order up to two weeks for in-stock items.

Signature - Required Shipping

Orders over $250 and orders containing one-of-a-kind, irreplaceable items, will be shipped requiring a signature for delivery; the shipping company will not deliver the package without obtaining a signature. If you would like your order under $250 shipped signature- required, please include a note to that effect in the “Customer Notes” field on your order.

Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories

We will ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territory addresses using the United States Postal Service. Rush Shipping to these destinations is not available.

International Orders

5 Oaks Studio can process international orders. If you would like to place an order from outside of the United States, please email us at info@5oaksstudio.com and we will do our best to accommodate your order. For International Shipments, please email info@5oaksstudio.com. Customers are responsible for international duties, taxes, and refused shipping charges.

APO - FPO Address & P.O. Boxes

We will ship to APO/FPO addresses and PO Boxes using the United States Postal Service. Shipping to APO/FPO address and PO Boxes may cause a slight delay in delivery. We ship all APO/FPO orders via USPS Priority Mail to the appropriate APO/FPO processing center then via the military postal service and shipment tracking is not available for APO/FPO addresses. For security purposes, USPS will not show a delivery scan or in transit scans for packages sent to these addresses. Most shipments usually arrive to you within a total of 5-10 business days. However, some orders may take up to 20 business days to arrive. Delivery time to APO/FPO is for delivery to the APO/FPO processing center only. If you are already familiar with sending packages to APO & FPO addresses, your order is likely to arrive in about the same amount of time. Because APO/FPO addresses are considered domestic, no import taxes or duties are due on orders shipped to them. If an order is shipped directly to a base, rather than through the APO/FPO system, however, taxes and duties would be applicable. Improperly formatting your address may result in delivery delays. Please enter your ship to information in the following format for APO/FPO/DPO shipments: RANK Full Name PSC/UNIT/CMR, Box # (if applicable) CITY (APO, FPO, or DPO), STATE (AA, AP, or AE), ZIP (5-digit or ZIP+4) Note: Use AE for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Canada; AP for Pacific; and AA for Central & South America.
